Home tariffs, off-peak rates and fast-charger prices vary hugely. The calculator starts from dated example prices for Australia, the UK, Germany, Malaysia and Singapore, and you overwrite them with your own.

How it works

FAQ

Is this site affiliated with any car brand? No. It's an independent project run by an EV owner. Brand and model names are used only to describe cars factually.

Why are your example prices different from my bill? They're published reference figures, such as a regulator's price cap or a national average, each with a date. Your tariff could be higher or lower, so always enter your own.

Does it work in miles? UK users can enter miles. The calculator converts to km internally.

Is it financial advice? No. It's an estimating tool. Real costs depend on your tariff, standing charges, driving style, weather and charger losses.

Which country prices are included? Australia, the UK, Germany, Malaysia and Singapore at launch. Where we couldn't find a reliable published figure (for example average public DC prices in Germany and Singapore), the field is left blank for you to fill in.
